But when I got to the point of mounting volumes from OpenBSD into Alpin I found out vmm can't do that. I'll give it a go later today.įor Alpine under vmm, I actually got it working partially via some great tutorials and even patched the docker-machine-vmm to work a little smoother. I probably didnt look to deep as I remember mention it not working in an older message somewhere. I'm tried it a month or so ago on Firefox on 6.3 without luck. Only deal breakers are WebRTC and Docker, due to work. Some of these are obviously not deal breakers. I keep a list of deal breakers I've been crossing off over the years. I wish I could use it as my only machine, but can't just yet. Always follow progress and install it a couple times a year. I've been using OpenBSD here and there since 2.8. Seems small but texting from my computer as I browse is super helpful Sequel Pro on Mac shits on anything else I've used. I prefer Postgres, but we have lots of MySQL servers.1Password and YNAB use Dropbox, which OpenBSD doesnt support, but it doesn't support the apps so its kinda moot.Sidenote, review of the X1C5 was the reason I picked it up.Tried Bitwarden via jcs's recommendation, but it would miss inputs all the time Not really by choice, but I do find it very convenient for local development Docker doesn't run well enough to make me comfortable committing to it.No WebRTC so no video meetings with business teams. No WebRTC so no screen sharing with other developers. I've been using a Macbook for nearly 10 years but all my day to day development I do remotely on a more powerful linux box via tmux and emacs. I recently got an Thinkpad X1C5 to try and switch to OpenBSD full time with Linux partition just in case.
